Donna Goodridge Loftin, age 76 of Alvin, Texas, passed away Monday, August 31, 2026 at her home. Donna was born October 14, 1949 in Galveston, Texas and was a lifetime resident of Alvin. She graduated from Alvin HS in 1968 and would go on to graduate with a Bachelors and Master's degree in education from the University of Houston. Donna was a 38-year educator spending her entire career working in Alvin and Santa Fe ISD, touching the lives of countless people along the way. She was a devout member of the First Methodist Church of Alvin and will be dearly missed by all that knew her.

Donna is preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Frankie Goodridge; sister, Billie Payne; brother, Ralph Rhodes; granddaughter, Kennedy Loftin.

Donna is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Milton Loftin of Alvin, Texas; her children, son, Byron Loftin and wife Emmy of Irving, Texas, daughter, Mysti Bunn and husband Clint of Alvin, Texas; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Loftin of Conroe, Texas; bonus son, Dwayne Moran of Kemah, Texas; brother, Gene "Skipper" Goodridge; grandchildren "chicks", Alexus Bunn, Evan Loftin, Payton Loftin, Ashley Bunn and Harrison Loftin; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

A memorial visitation will be held from 12:30 PM – 2:00 PM Saturday, September 5, 2026 at First Methodist Church of Alvin (611 W. South Street Alvin, Texas 77511) with visitation beginning at 12:30 PM and a memorial service beginning at 2:00 PM. In leu of flowers, we ask you make a memorial donation in Mrs. Donna Loftin's name to the Santa Fe Texas Education Foundation, supporting educational advancements for Santa Fe ISD students and staff. Donna was a beautiful wife, a caring mother, an overly loving grandmother, sister, mentor, teacher and friend to many. She was filled with love and walked in the light of our Lord faithfully. May we rejoice in the love she left within us until we reunite with her in Heaven.
