Donald Nathan Rector, passed away at home on December 23, 2021, at the age of 84. Donald was born on March 15, 1937, in Sparta, North Carolina. He resided in Alvin, Texas where he made Alvin his home for 40 years. Donald Rector lived an amazing life making his family his daily priority. Donald was married to his love of his life, Ruth Rector with their two children that they adopted. He worked for many years as a truck driver. Donald is preceded in death by his beautiful wife Ruth Rector, parents Ivan and Curla Rector, sister Evelyn Hall, and brother Dale Rector.

Donald is survived by his daughter Jennifer Rector; son Steven Rector; sister Pat Dorman; grandchildren: daughters of Jennifer Rector; Ashlyn and her husband Jose Grimaldo and Angelina Harris. Great-Grand daughters, Lailah and Aulora Grimaldo. Three granddaughters that belong to Steven and Ellen: Jessica, Tamara, Caitlin and great granddaughters, Malou, Anabellah, Tristin, and Chanel. A ton more that called him Grandpa, Don or Mr. Rector. Donald was as real as they come, with a helping hand and a "Miller" to share. He was not the typical grandpa he was more than that to a lot of kids. If he was not on Debbie Lane, he was at the softball fields being Angelina and Lailah's biggest fan. You will be missed, till we meet again!

A memorial visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. Saturday, January 15, 2021. Masks required.
