Donald Ray Cave (Don), age 89, of Alvin, Texas, passed away on Monday, October 6, 2025, surrounded by his family. Don was born on September 8, 1936, in Robstown, Texas. He grew up in nearby Agua Dulce Texas where he met and married his high school sweetheart Willie Grace on Christmas day, 1957. Don was a resident of Alvin, Texas for almost 60 years. He worked for many years as an electrician for several chemical facilities along Chocolate Bayou. Don was a founding member of Heights Baptist Church and was a long serving deacon. Don was preceded in death by his daughter, Vickie Hood, and his parents, Ethel and Douglas Cave.

Don is survived by his wife, Willie Grace Cave; daughter, Donna Silvas and husband Felipe; son, Michael Cave and wife Tammy; ten grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Scott Funeral Home in Alvin, Texas, with funeral services beginning at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in the City of Alvin Oak Park Cemetery.
