Delores "Dee" Andrews, age 76 of Alvin, Texas, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2024.  Dee was born on April 24, 1947 in Big Springs, Texas and was a resident of Alvin, Texas for over 50 years.  She worked for ATEC Electric and was an active and proud member of the Westside Church of Christ.  Dee was preceded in death by her parents, James Dalton and Pearl Watkins, and herstepmother, Edna Mae Dalton. Mother and Father-in-lawJW and Dorothy Andrews, her brothers in law Ralph Parker and Jimmy Andrews and sister Peggy Scott.

Dee enjoyed chasing games of all sorts of her girls, grandchildren, as well as all their friends, and friends of friends, and kids of friends of friends! If there was an event, competition, or celebration of any kind, she and dad were there cheering us all on.

She loved creating greeting cards, making quilts, sewing, cooking for whoever and wherever there were mouths to be fed and collecting everything under the sun. See "Barbie"and "Elvis".

Dee is survived by her husband, JW (Bill) Andrews, Jr., daughters, Pam McDaniel and husband Robert, Tanya Mutina and husband Mike, Lori Garner and husband Steve, sisters, Joyce Parker, Nelda Hendricks, Janet Washburn, her bonus sister Sandi Cowan and stepsister Frankie Bond. 8 grandchildren, Jordan and his wife Morgan, Michael, Jeremy and his wife Madeline, Justin and his wife Jessica, Ryan and his wife Lisa, Makena, Jesse, Kaylee.  9 great-grandchildren, Drake, Gray and Whitt Mutina, Jackson, Easton and Karson Lenaburg, Wyatt and Waylan Garner and Walker Prescott, as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held Thursday, January 11, 2024 from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at the Westside Church of Christ in Alvin, Tx. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 12, 2024 at 10:30 A.M. at the Westside Church of Christ with interment to follow in the City of Alvin Oak Park Cemetery.
