Dawn Aldridge of Alvin, Texas, passed away peacefully at 7:44 am CST on February 7th, 2022, and went home to see our Lord. Dawn was born on May 21, 1972, in Wichita, Kansas and, was a previous resident of Hopkins, Minnesota, Eden Prairie, Minnesota, and Friendswood, Texas. Dawn proudly worked for the United States Air Force as a contracted civilian in the payroll and accounting department at McConnell Air Force Base from 2002 till 2004. Dawn suffered kidney failure and had to have a kidney transplant at twenty years of age. The kidney was provided to her by her brother David Reynolds. Her transplanted kidney lasted twelve years, and she was donated a second kidney by her sister Joy Johnson on February 7, 2007. Dawn fought through a life of numerous medical struggles as she continually sought God's strength. Dawn went on to earn an associate degree in Medical Assisting from Wichita Area Technical College. Dawn is preceded by her parents, Paul Reynolds and Paula Reynolds of Clearwater, Kansas.

Survived by her loving husband, Patrick D. Aldridge; daughter Marissa Aldridge, Son Andrew D. Aldridge, Stepdaughter Mya Gene, Stepdaughter Hannah Aldridge, Step-Son Tom W. Aldridge, Granddaughter Leila M. Aldridge, Granddaughter Dellete Aldridge, sister Stephne Worden, sister Joy Johnson, Brother David Reynolds. There are several nieces and nephews and cousins. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sibling, and friend. Dawn's faith in God was strong, and she kept her faith till the end. She had many, many friends and never met a stranger.

A memorial visitation will be held at Scott Funeral Home Saturday, March 12, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM with a service staring at 3:00 PM and will be held.
