David Allan Simpson, age 71 of Rosharon, Texas, passed away Sunday, August 20, 2023. David was born on June 30, 1952, in Columbus, Ohio, and was a resident of Rosharon, Texas, for over 40 years. He was a graduate of Rice University and worked for many years in the sales industry. He enjoyed spending time with his numerous Labrador retrievers, watching the Astros and Rice Owls, coin collecting and classic western films. David was preceded in death by his wife, Eugenia Simpson, father, Jacob Simpson, and sister-in-law, Joyce Simpson.

David is survived by his, daughter, Ashley Simpson, son, Sean Simpson and wife Lacey Stewart, mother, Louise Simpson, sisters, Diane Champlan, Martha Diaz and husband Dan, brothers, Jeff Simpson, Rod Simpson and wife Terri, as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

Service will be held at the Sanders Funeral Home in Lubbock, Texas, on Saturday, September 23 at 3:00pm.
