David Charles Boyles, age 97 of Alvin, Texas, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 18, 2024 in his home. David was born on October 5, 1926 in Hubbard, Texas and was a resident of Alvin, Texas for over 50 years. David was preceded in death by his parents, Eieleise and Carl Boyles, sister, Judy Brooks, and brother, Carl Boyles.

He worked for 58 years as a dentist, beloved by many faithful patients. All three of his children and two granddaughters have followed his footsteps into the dental profession. He was an avid sports enthusiast. He coached boys basketball, girls softball and was a great cheerleader for all his grandkid's accomplishments. David enjoyed golf and archery throughout his life, competing in Senior Olympics for many years. He was an active member at Heights Baptist church, serving as deacon, Sunday School teacher and choir member. David kept his 20 acre pecan orchard mowed and used it for his golf and archery practice.

David is survived by his wife Jeannine Boyles, son David Boyles Jr and wife Jill, daughters Karen Davenport and husband Donnie, Laurie Wolfe and husband Lonnie. Eight grandchildren, Kim Butler and husband Chad, Tracy Koehler and husband Steve, LK Wolfe, Regan Prewitt and husband Billy, Larissa Lee and husband Derek, Leslie Moore and husband Theo, Shannon Herzberg and husband Dave, and Allan Brown. Ten great-grandchildren, Kaylyn Tucker, Norah Prewitt, Leighton Butler, Ella Lee, Will Prewitt, Graham Lee, Easton Butler, Cora Lee, and Ashtyn and Peyton Koehler.

A visitation will be held Monday, July 22, 2024 from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Heights Baptist Church in Alvin, Texas with funeral services beginning at 11:00 AM.
