Darlene Scheuers, age 70 of Alvin, Texas, passed away Saturday, August 22, 2026. Darlene was born March 12, 1956 in Rockford, Illinois. Darlene enjoyed quilting, birdwatching, and spending time with her granddaughters. Darlene is preceded in death by her parents John and Laura Donahue.

Darlene is survived by her husband of 51 years Edward Scheuers; daughter Lisa Hoffman; son Carl Scheuers and wife Joselyn; brother John Donahue; sisters Violet Mora and Evelin Towels; grandchildren Carly, Megan and Laura, as well as numerous other family and friends.

A memorial visitation will be held Sunday, September 27, 2026 at Scott Funeral Home from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM.
