Darlene Kay Childress, age 76 formerly of Alvin, Texas, passed away Monday, September 30, 2024 in Fulshear, Texas. Darlene was born December 1, 1947 in Alvin, Texas and was a longtime resident. She worked for 12 years at First National Bank of Alvin and will be dearly missed by all that knew her.

Darlene is preceded in death by her parents, Wesley and Maurine Miller. Darlene is survived by her daughter, Candice McLean and husband Cory; son, Christopher Childress and wife Stephanie; grandchildren, Nicole, Cameron, Cayla, Haley, Courtney, Connor and Cody; along with numerous extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, October 10, 2024 at Scott Funeral Home
