Daniel Bruce Pierce, age 67 of Alvin, Texas, passed away Friday, June 14, 2024.  Daniel was born October 1, 1956, in La Marque, Texas, and was a member of the Alvin community for 67 years. Daniel proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Daniel loved singing karaoke at The Chameleon and deep sea fishing. For the past 13 years he has been a loyal volunteer for the Alvin Police Department. He drove the Alvin Police Citizens Patrol car and chances are if you saw that car he was the one behind the wheel. Daniel is preceded in death by his father Clarence Pierce, and sister Davida Marsh.

Daniel is survived by his mother Bethany Pierce; daughter Ashley Pierce; son Travis Pierce; sister Deborah Courtright; brother Dale Pierce.

A visitation will be held Friday, June 21, 2024 from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Scott Funeral Home, with a funeral service beginning at 11:00 AM. A private family graveside will be held later that day.
