Daniel Coget, age 78 formerly of Friendswood, Texas, passed away Saturday, August 26, 2023 surrounded by his family.  Daniel was born on October 29, 1944 in Harrisburg, Illinois and was a resident of Alvin, Texas for the last 3 years.  He worked for many years as a salesman in the equipment industry and proudly served his country in the United States Navy.  Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Vivian Coget.

Daniel is survived by his wife, Karon Coget, daughters, Kelly Smith and husband Jason, Kimberly Coget, son, Shane Coget and wife Keena, sister, Pat Courtney, brother, Don Coget and wife Jane, 4 grandchildren, Teya, Kylie, Shelby, Cody, as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

A memorial visitation will be held Wednesday, September 6, 2023 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Scott Funeral Home in Alvin, Texas.
