Dale Winston Turner, age 87 of Alvin, Texas, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2024 at his residence.  Dale was born October 12, 1937 in Weldon, Texas and had been a resident of Alvin since 1950. Dale graduated from Alvin High School in 1956 and was a longtime member of the Alvin Masonic Lodge joining in 1959. He worked as a boilermaker out of Union Local 132 in La Marque, Texas; he would go onto serve as the business manager for the local and retired at the age of 56. Dale married the love of his life Shirley Smith June 14, 1958, and had been married for sixty six and a half years. He enjoyed hunting out of Brushy Creek Ranch near Hallettsville, Texas since 1980; he enjoyed fishing and playing golf with his buddies as well as having lunch with his classmates once a month. He was a great man and will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Dale is preceded in death by his parents, Atma and Hattie Turner.

Dale is survived by his loving wife, Shirley Turner; daughter, Shauna Turner; son, Kenneth Turner; brother, Larry Turner and wife Marie; along with numerous extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2:30 PM on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at Scott Funeral Home.
