Cora Billie Crowson, age 91 of Alvin, Texas passed away Thursday, January 26, 2023 at Laurel Court Nursing Facility in Alvin. Cora was born October 28, 1931 in Whitney, Texas and was a resident of Alvin since 2009 formerly of Livingston, Texas. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Alvin and enjoyed spending time with her church family. Cora is preceded in death by her first husband, James Gravitt; second husband, Aaron Crowson; daughter, Gloria Gravitt; son, James Gravitt; parents, Earl and Cora Watts; and 4 siblings.

Cora is survived by her daughters, Shirley Knape, Terry Kelley and husband Elvin; 5 grandchildren, Melanie Harwell, Amy Khaki, Guy Knape, Elvin Kelley and Michelle Boultinghouse; 9 great grandchildren, Rylan, Blake, Jaxson, Alana, Otto, Amanda, Christopher, Brayden and Caleb; 1 great-great grandchild, Jackson; along with numerous extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM Monday, February 6, 2023 at Scott Funeral Home with funeral services beginning at 1:00 PM. A private burial will take place in Whitney, Texas.
