Dallas Clifford Pickett Jr., age 88 of Alvin, Texas passed away Sunday, May 17, 2026 at Morada Assisted Living Facility in Friendswood, Texas. Cliff was born February 18, 1938 in Decatur, Texas and was a longtime resident of Alvin. He graduated from Alvin High School in 1956 and proudly served his country in the United States Army. Cliff was a graduate of Alvin Community College and the University of Houston. He worked in the chemical industry for Monsanto, and also set up the instrumentation program at Brazosport College in 1972. Cliff was a charter member of South Park Baptist Church in Alvin; he served the church as a deacon and was a longtime Sunday school teacher. He is preceded in death by his parents, D.C. and Gladys Pickett Sr.; sisters, Sandra Pickett and Judy Templeton.

Cliff is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Lynn Pickett; daughter, Jenny Carter (Greg); sons, Dallas Lee Pickett (Carla), Bruce Pickett (Jennifer); grandchildren, Angie Fisher (Matthew), Mandy Gillis, Cassandra Pickett, Nathan Gillis (Heather), Sarah Pickett and Andrea Kimberling (Greg); great grandchildren, Julie, Jose, Serena, Sadie and Sutton; one great-great grandchild, Ezra; along with numerous extended family and friends.

Serving as pallbearers are the South Park Baptist Church Deacons and serving as honorary pallbearers are the adult men's 3 Sunday school class.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the memory care staff at Morada Assisted Living in Friendswood for their compassion and unwavering care.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM Saturday, May 23, 2026 at South Park Baptist Church with funeral services beginning at 11:00 AM.

A small graveside service will be held at 4:00 PM at Lakeside Cemetery, 1138 FM 102 Eagle Lake, Texas 77434.
