Charlotte Ann Hering, age 73 of Alvin, Texas, passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2024 Caring Country Cottage in Alvin.  Charlotte was born June 21, 1951 in Angleton, Texas and was a lifetime resident of Alvin. She worked as respiratory therapist spending most of her time working at Polly Ryan Hospital in Richmond, Texas and for Brazosport Hospital in Lake Jackson, Texas. Charlotte was loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, friend and will be dearly missed by all that knew her. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Iva Rooth Sr.; grandparents, Albert and Charlotte Rooth.

Charlotte is survived by her children, Julie Miller and Joel Hering; grandchildren, Kiele Busch and husband Logan, Hunter Miller, Kloe Miller and Kora Miller; great grandchild, Emerson Busch; sister, Linda Salzer and husband Bob; brother, Charlie Rooth Jr. and wife Jeanie; along with numerous extended family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, September 9, 2024 at Scott Funeral Home with interment to follow at Confederate Cemetery in Alvin.
