Charlotte June Gautier Duncan, age 73 of Alvin, Texas, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at her home after losing her battle with breast cancer. Charlotte was born December 13, 1949, in Belton, Texas, and was a resident of Alvin since 1976. She worked as a banking bookkeeper and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

She met her husband Wayne when he was stationed in Fort Hood. They got married when he was going off to fight in the Vietnam War. She was a homemaker and the proud mother of 4 children, Memaw to 10 grandchildren, and great-grandmother to one great-grandchild. She worked in the large family garden, made meals from scratch, and quilted beautiful baby blankets.

Charlotte is preceded in death by her parents, George ( G. R. ) and Stella Gautier; sisters, Phynetta Horton and Patsy Curb.

Charlotte is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Wayne Duncan; children, Jennifer Klein and husband Edward, Adam Duncan and wife Kimberly, Emily Weber and husband Jeff, and Denise Allen; sisters, Doris Edwards and Connie Scott; brothers, Richard Gautier, Tom Gautier, Buster Gautier, and Terry Gautier; grandchildren, Weston Allen, Warner Allen, Denali Klein, MacKenzie Frausto and husband Drake, Jordan Weber, Kailey Duncan, Ed Klein, Kennedy Duncan, Lauren Weber, and Daisy Duncan; great-grandchild, Lukas Frausto; along with numerous extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Friday, December 15, 2023 at Scott Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, December 16, 2023 at Scott Funeral Home with Interment to follow at Confederate Cemetery in Alvin.
