Charles "Chuck" Edward Stockton, age 76 of Alvin, Texas, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2024.  Chuck was born September 15, 1947, in Bowie, Texas and had been a resident of Alvin for 40 years. Chuck enjoyed golf, woodworking, and playing cards. Chuck is preceded in death by his parents, Jake and Freda Stockton; sister Sandra Stockton Trotter; grandson Clayton Wright.

Charles is survived by his wife Shirley Stockton; son Jay Beasley and wife Debbie; daughters Diana Hilton, Sherry Houdyshell and husband Steven, Beverly Wright and husband Greg; brother John Stockton; grandchildren Ashley Keyes, James Wright, Daniel Allen, Zacrie Wright, Scott Bias, and Brandon Hilton; great grandchildren Paisley, Evie, Benson, Redford, Junnie, Keelie, Kiari, and Ryker.

A visitation will be Saturday, August 10, 2024, from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Scott Funeral Home, with a funeral service beginning at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at Confederate Cemetery following the services.
