Charles "Chuck" Alonzo Gibbs Jr., age 61 of Alvin, Texas passed away Saturday, November 26, 2022 at UTMB Hospital in League City, Texas. Chuck was born August 4, 1961 in Birmingham, Alabama and was a longtime resident of Alvin. He was affiliated with St. John The Baptist Catholic Church in Alvin and worked for over 30 years as a crane operator for TCD Incorporated in Pearland, Texas. Chuck was a loving, hard working, family man who loved his family dearly and spent most of his time with his grandson who called him Bop Bop. Chuck was an avid gun collector and was always working on mechanical projects at home. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends who will forever love him. He is preceded in death by his parents, mother, Jacquelyn Sue Banks; father, Charles Gibbs Sr.

Chuck is survived by his stepmother, Jody Gibbs; loving wife, Rose Ann Gibbs; son, Steffin Gibbs; daughter, Brittany Kiefer and husband Chance Herring; grandson, Jayden Kiefer; brothers, Michael Gibbs, John Gibbs, Russell Gibbs, Mark Gibbs and wife Peggy Sue; niece Dakota Gibbs; nephew Austin Gibbs and wife Leesa Gibbs; brother-in-law, Joseph and wife Melissa Benda; niece, Kimberly Benda; nephew Anthony Benda, along with numerous extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM Friday, December 2, 2022 at Scott Funeral Home in Alvin. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Scott Funeral Home in Alvin.
