Catherine (Cathy) Tillinger, age 68 of Alvin, Texas, passed away Saturday, April 5, 2025 at her residence surrounded by her family.  Catherine was born on December 13, 1956 in West Virginia.  Cathy dedicated many years of her life to the Legal profession as a paralegal and as a volunteer supporting Toys for Tots.  Her commitment and diligence left a lasting impression on those she worked with throughout her career as a paralegal.  Her efforts for Toys for Tots brought joy and gifts for kids in need.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jacqueline and Hoyt Clark, daughter, Leigh Ann Mitchell.

Catherine is survived by her husband, John Tillinger, sons, Donny Sellenriek (Anna), Chris Sellenriek (Lindsey), sisters, Molly Wiltz (Bernard), Terry Myers (Cliff), Celeste Cox (Les), brothers, Matt Clark (Claron), Bill Clark (Debbie), 9 grandchildren, Sarah Joiner (Bryce), Logan Lacy, Ty and Tobin Sellenriek, Braelyn and Makayla Mitchell, Kadin, Elora and Caleb Sellenriek, great-grandchild, Damion Joiner,  as well as numerous other relatives and friends who will cherish her memory.

Cathy was known for her strength, thoughtfulness, fierce dedication to family and occasional spontaneous adventures.  She touched the lives of everyone she encountered with warmth and sincerity.  Her presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
