Carrol Hogue, age 77 of Alvin, Texas, went to be with the Lord Sunday, July 24, 2022.  Carrol was born on July 25, 1944 in Wink, Texas and was a resident of Alvin, Texas for over 40 years.  She was a homemaker and a member of the Alvin Missionary Baptist Church.  Carrol was preceded in death by her husband, Benny Hogue, son, Mike Hogue, parents, James (JC) and Lorene Jackson, sister, Angie McMillan.

Carrol is survived by her daughters, Cindy Sutton, and husband Steve, Kathy Hogue Mitchell and husband Tom, Karen Merchant and husband Danny, sister, Amy Clem, brothers, Bruce Jackson and wife Lynn, Darryl Jackson and wife Grace, 13 grandchildren, Paul, Ricky, Erica, Amanda, Carrie, Ashley, William, Michael, Ethan, Kassie, Johnathon, Aaron, Kristen, 28 great grandchildren, as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held Thursday, July 28, 2022 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Scott Funeral Home in Alvin, Texas.  A funeral service will be held Friday, July 29, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. at Scott Funeral Home with interment to follow in the Confederate Cemetery in Alvin.
