Carrie Stanley Edwards was born on March 28th, 1979 to Gary and Sylvia Lynch of Pasadena Tx, she was born Carrie Ann Lynch. Carrie was greeted in heaven by her mom and dad as well as her beloved Granny on Saturday, January the 15th, 2022.

Carrie was diagnosed with "Cancer from unknown Primary" in late July of 2021, it was later changed to stomach cancer when every other possibility was ruled out. When found, the cancer had spread throughout the body and she was frightened. Carrie usually suffered in extreme pain with a smile on her face until she got home and she was exhausted. She would usually receive chemo while doing work or sending videos to people instead of resting like she should have, but that was who she was. She was coaching a week before she passed even though she couldn't even stand. She fought hard, but the evil bastard that is cancer took her life in less than 6 months. I am glad that her pain and suffering has ended, but now we suffer with life without my Carrie!

Carrie went by many titles such as Babe, my love, sister, coach, aunt Rarrie, "awnt" Carrie, Boo, Care-bear, dog-hoarder, and so many others, but the title she was most proud of was Mother. She was so proud of her kids even when she told me to go yell at them and then she would yell at me for yelling at them. Her heart was so giving, she always thought about others especially around Christmas. Sometimes she would wake up extra early and get dressed to leave, I would ask "where are you going" and she would say to get donuts or kolaches, I would tell her what I want and she would say, they are for my students or for her team at that time! Man, she loved her students!  She loved all!

Carrie leaves behind her best friend of 21 years, her husband of almost 19 years, Eric. She's watching over her 4 children, Colton (bubba, bub), Caden (chunk), Emma (mama), and Evan (my baby). She is now an Angel to her 3 sisters and their families, Nancy and Calvin McGee, with her nephew Adrian, and her niece Celeste. Jimmie and Chris Charlesworth and three nephews Landon, Garyson, and that boy Owen. Frances(Fran, Frannie, Franny pantie…..) and Darrin Scopel and nephew Patrick. Her in-laws(in-loves), Patrick and Serena Carter and that cutie Bryn Bryn. Her father-in-law Orbie who she just absolutely adores. She loved that Stanley crew, Chet, Joy, Gracie, and Isaiah.  Her uncle Glenn and aunt Margaret whom she respected and loved dearly, cousin Ashley and Husband Cole and their children Paige and Hayden. Cousin Gage and his wife Aly along with baby Declan. I could not forget to include Harby Texas, her home away from home. From everyone she coaches with and whom she has coached with, her "special" math group, her Boo, and her private nurse, all of her friends who have left Harby in the past hold a special place in her heart. There are many others that I could go on about but I can not complete this section without mentioning "Mommies Baby", her little furry shadow, her baby Luna! And Doug…….

I would always ask her over and over and over, what do you want Babe, usually until she got mad. I just wanted to make her happy and just want you to know Babe, you made me so happy! Until I hold you again, "LOVE YOU MY LOVE"!

Visitation will be held Friday, January 21, 2022 from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Scott Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Emmanuel Worship Center ( 2427 FM 528 ) in Alvin, Texas. Interment will follow at Oak Park Cemetery in Alvin.
