Carolyn Darlene Butler, age 79 of Alvin, Texas, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at her home. Carolyn was born September 9, 1943, in Brady, Texas and was a longtime resident of Alvin. She graduated from Alvin High School in 1961 and worked many years in the mortgage lending industry. Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, J. C. and Mildred Ramsey.

Carolyn is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Carl Butler; daughters, Kayse Kocurek and husband Michael, DeAnna Huffman and husband Shawn; son, Brandon Butler and wife Lori; sister, Gwen Arrington; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Steeples and husband Will, Nicholas Kocurek and Grace DeForde, Haleigh Abadiano and husband Aaron, Jarrett Huffman, Tyler Butler, Ryan Butler and Dylan Butler; great grandchildren, Wyatt Steeples, Walker Steeples, Demi Finch, Summerlynn Kocurek and Sawyer Kocurek; along with numerous extended family and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 11:30 AM Monday, February 27, 2023, at Hayes Grace Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock, Texas.

In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be made in Carolyn's honor to the American Cancer Society.
