Bruce Alan Johnson, age 71 of Alvin, Texas, passed away Friday, December 20, 2024.  Bruce was born April 20, 1953, in Texas City, Texas. Bruce was a boil maker for 33 years out of union local 132 in La Marque, Texas. He worked for Dixon equipment for 18 years. Bruce loved to hunt out of Bushy Creek Ranch near Hallettsville, Texas, he also enjoyed boating and fishing. Bruce is preceded in death by his parents Frederick Joseph and Lois Ladelle Johnson; granddaughter Claire Malek; grandson Kolby Jarred Stueber.

Bruce is survived by his wife Penny Johnson; daughter Shara Knape and husband Mike; sons Eddie Wright and wife Krista and Larry Wright and girlfriend Suzanne Malik; sister Billie June Dixon and husband Floyd; grandchildren Harper Knape, Hailey Wright, Nathan Wright, McKinsey Wright, Carter Malik, and Koby Wright; two great-grandsons Colton Mark Hubbard and Hudson Thomas Harris; best friend Bobby Ober and wife Theresa.

A visitation will be Saturday, December 28, 2024 at Scott Funeral Home from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM, with a funeral service beginning at 2:00 PM. Interment to follow at Confederate Cemetery.
