Brenda Sue Rose, age 72 of Alvin, Texas passed away peacefully with her family by her side Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Harbor Hospice Nursing Facility in Houston, Texas.  Brenda was born March 3, 1949 in Fort Smith, Arkansas and was a lifetime resident of Alvin. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Thelma Taylor.

Brenda is survived by her loving husband, Ray Rose; daughter, Amanda Lopez; son, Ray Rose Jr.; sister, Rhonda Potts; brother, James Taylor; granddaughter, Kaitlyn Lopez; along with numerous other relatives and friends.  Her cheerful spirit and sweet smile will be missed greatly by everyone.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM Monday, November 29, 2021 at Scott Funeral Home with funeral services beginning at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Confederate Cemetery.
