Billy Wayne Eakin, age 66 of Alvin, Texas passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at his home.  Billy was born January 15, 1957 in Houston, Texas and was a resident of Alvin for the last 20 years. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy and spent his entire working career as a master plumber spending many years working for Able Plumbing in Seabrook, Texas. Billy is preceded in death by his father, Ray Eakin Sr.; sisters, Deborah Eakin and Linda Eakin.

Billy is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Jackie Eakin; mother, Trudela Casey; daughters, Heather Rochow and husband Brian, Amanda Eakin and fiance C.J., Katrina Keithley and fiance Michel; sons, Jerry Eakin, Douglas Eakin and wife Jenna, Josh Dean and wife Amy; brothers, Ray Eakin Jr. and Johnny Eakin; grandchildren, Presley, Jenna, Harper, Aedyn, Jonas, Brant, Madison, Kade, Macie, Sabrina, Rush, Reef, Andrew, Austyn, Allyson, Alexis and Averie; great grandchildren, Harper, Bryer, Blair and Kasen; along with numerous extended family and friends.

In his spare time, Billy enjoyed the outdoors where he was an  avid fisherman. He fished many lakes in Texas and the Trinity river. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR races and went on trips to Texas Raceway, Daytona, and Talladega with his wife Jackie where she became a fan as well. He was quick witted and quite the comedian.  He loved spending time with family and friends, and absolutely cherished time spent with his grandchildren. He adored them just as much as they did him. He was loved beyond measure and will be missed tremendously.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM Sunday, July 16, 2023 at Scott Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, July 17, 2023 at Scott Funeral Home with interment to follow at Confederate Cemetery in Alvin.
