Betty Alberta Cessna, age 85 of Alvin, Texas passed away Friday, November 5, 2021 in Danbury, Texas. Betty was born October 20, 1936 in Houston, Texas and was a resident of Alvin for 59 years. Betty is preceded in death by her parents, Richard Brumfield and Jewel Colley Brumfield  and sister Marjorie Dell Hunting

Betty is survived by her loving husband, Alfred M. Cessna; daughter, Jonamarie Terry Meyer, grandchildren, Stacie Bynum Heath, Julie Bynum Bennett, John David Bynum ; great grandchildren, Colton Heath, Hannah Heath and Leo Bynum.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 8:00 PM Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at Scott Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at Scott Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Hardin Chapel Cemetery in Hardin, Texas on Thursday, November 11, 2021.
