Bernie L. Harty Jr., age 61 of Alvin, Texas passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2022, in League City, Texas. Bernie was born January 23, 1961, in Galveston, Texas and was a resident of Alvin for 53 years.  Bernie is preceded in death by his father Bernie L. Harty Sr.; grandparents Ralph and Mary Penny, and Bernie and Nell Harty; nephew Adam Moritz.

Bernie is survived by his mother Jeannine Harty, and his sister Mary Nell Simmons and husband Dan.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM Monday, April 18, 2022, at Scott Funeral Home. A funeral service will be Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at 1:00 PM at Scott Funeral Home with an interment following the service at Confederate Cemetery.
