Belen Lopez, age 83 of Alvin, Texas, passed away Thursday, May 4, 2023 at her residence surrounded by her family.  Belen was born on December 24, 1939 in Mexico and was a resident of Alvin, Texas for over - years.  She was a homemaker, and Christian by faith.  Belen was preceded in death by her parents, Israel and Margarita Pulido, sisters, Anita, Adela, Maria, Amabely, Hermina, brothers, Albino, Felipe, Oscar, and,Felipe Pulido.

Belen is survived by her husband, Federico Lopez, daughters, Rosalinda, Sandra, Sonia, Belen, Melva, sons, Lico, Mike, Chuy, sister, Aurora, 23 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held Monday, May 8, 2023 from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM at Scott Funeral Home in Alvin, Texas.  A funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at 10:00 am at Scott Funeral Home in Alvin, Texas.  Interment will follow in Confederate Cemetery.
