Barbara Hackett, age 68 of Alvin, Texas passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born November 10, 1953 in Houston, Texas and was a resident of Alvin for the last 10 years. She was a homemaker and enjoyed doing crafts and spending time with her husband, daughter, grandchildren, great-grandchild and family and friends. Barbara is preceded in death by her son, Jamie King, parents, Ray and Wanda Tharp.

Barbara is survived by her husband of 30 years Alvin Hackett, her daughter Tina and husband Jim Welsh along with two grandchildren Bradley and Bailie Welsh and great-grandchild Zoey Welsh. Also surviving her is son Niky King and his family, Chad Cavender and his family, daughter Kim Alford and her family.

She is also survived by her brother, William Hollis and his family, her sister Lisa Guice and her family. In addition, she has a sister for life, Jeanine Foreman and family along with numerous nieces and nephews and close friends.

A Private Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at the Hackett Family Home.
