Audrey Fay Moro, age 86 of Como, Texas passed away Monday, January 17, 2022 at her home in Como, Texas. Audrey was born February 26, 1935 in Jud, Texas and was a longtime resident of Como formerly of Fresno, Texas. While living in Fresno she served as a Certified firefighter in the  Fresno Volunteer Fire Department and ladies auxiliary member from the late 1960's to 1985. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Merle "Buster" Phillips; second husband, A.O. "Junior" Moro; son, Glenn Phillips; parents, Fritz and Dollie Lawson; sisters, Josephine Lawson, Maxine Lawson and Susie Taylor; brother, J.R. Lawson.

Audrey is survived by her daughters, Audrey Rogers, Penny Mayes-Gregg and husband Roger; son, Phillip Phillips and wife Jeanette; sisters, Jean McVay, Cindy Batson and Margaret Ferguson; brothers, Clovis and Cloyde Lawson; along with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Scott Funeral Home with Funeral Services to begin at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at Fresno Cemetery in Fresno, Texas.
