Audrey Jasper, 98, of Alvin, Texas passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at her residence. Audrey Marie Maloney was born on May 29, 1926, in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. After graduating from nursing school in Illinois, she returned to her hometown of Chippewa Falls, married the love of her life, Howard, and worked as an OB nurse until the birth of her first daughter. She then began her life's work, that of a full-time mother and homemaker. In 1953 they moved to Mandan, North Dakota until they moved to Alvin Texas in 1970 when AMOCO started the chemical plant at Chocolate Bayou. She was a devoted Catholic and was a longtime, faithful member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Smart and social, she combined both traits by playing in several bridge clubs. She loved her family and playing card games and board games were a staple of many family memories. Audrey loved to read books and enjoyed music – two traits that she passed down to her daughters. She is preceded in death by her husband, Howard, her parents, Harry and Loretta Maloney, and her son-in-law, Tom Fairbanks.

Audrey is survived by her four daughters: Paula Fairbanks, Patricia Bennett and husband Daniel, Suzanne Torres and husband Vince; Jane Cannata and husband Michael; her seven grandchildren: Alisa and Chuck Dollery; Nicole Torres Menke and Brandon Torres; Kelsey Cannata Burkhart, Andrew, and Devon Cannata; and her four great grandchildren Cameron and Lucas Menke, Julia Cannata, and Cora Burkhart.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 6, 2025 from 4:00 to 5:30 pm at Scott Funeral Home with a Rosary recited at 5:30 pm. A funeral Mass is scheduled for Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at 10:30 am at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 110 E. South Street, Alvin, Texas. Final interment follows at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Dickinson, Texas.
