Arthur Floyd Barborak, Jr., age 60 of Alvin, Texas, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at Houston Hospice in Houston, Texas. Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM Sunday, March 26, 2023 at Scott Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, March 27, 2023 at Scott Funeral Home. Deacon David Bowman of St John the Baptist Catholic Church will officiate the funeral service.

Arthur was born November 21, 1962 at St. Joseph Hospital in Houston, Texas, and in 1972 the Barborak Sr family relocated to Alvin, Texas where Arthur Jr graduated from Alvin High School in 1981. Arthur Jr married his High School sweetheart Kathy Orlosky, and they had three beautiful children. He worked as a chemical operator for BASF Chemical Company in Freeport, Texas. Tragedy struck the Barborak family when his wife, Kathy, passed away at 33 from cancer. Arthur Jr refocused his attention on running the family farm in Praha, Texas. He loved animals and spending time outdoors. He did this until he fell ill and returned to

Alvin. Arthur is preceded in death by his wife, Lisa Kathleen Barborak and his sister, Shirley Jane Bigham. Arthur is survived by his children: Tricia Thatphavong and husband Sam; Natasha Barborak; Colby Barborak and husband David; parents, Arthur and Helen Barborak Sr.; sister, Arlene Hamblen and husband Allen; brother-in-law, John Bigham; grandchildren, Kamren, Kaitlynn and LaNiya; along with numerous extended family and friends.
