Antonio J Felan Sr "Tony"., age 81 born in San Antonio, Texas, passed away Friday, January 3, 2025. Antonio was born December 1, 1943, in San Antonio, Texas.

Antonio married the love of his life Mary Felan on July 12, 1960, and together they had seven children. Mary will forever cherish the memories of their adventures together. Antonio was known for his strong will, unwavering determination and love and support for his family and friends. Antonio's career as a Truck Driver took him on many road adventures, he was known for his solid work ethic and passion for driving. He was a trucker through & through. Antonio was a long-time member of Knights of Columbus council in Alvin-Manvel where he devoted his time to provide opportunities to live and spread the Catholic faith, Angleton Boxing Club and the Teamsters Union. You could always find Antonio enjoying one of his many hobbies including his passion for fishing and hunting. He cherished every family gathering at his favorite fishing spot at San Luis Pass and at his beloved Felan Ranch in Rocksprings, Texas.

Above all, Antonio lived for his family and his family lived for him. As the Patriarch of his family, he left a legacy to be admired, valued and honored. Antonio is survived by his wife Mary Felan, son Antonio Felan Jr and wife Diana Felan, son Michael A Felan, daughter Elizabeth Ann Felan (Betty), daughter Antoinette Felan (Toni), daughter Elaine Felan Cantu and husband Richard Cantu, daughter Veronica Felan-Herrera and husband Benny Herrera; grandchildren Daniel Anthony De La Cruz, Mario Juarez Jr, Ashley Felan, Matthew Elias Felan, Robert Ojeda Jr, Mercedes Marie Schaeffer, Nicholas Garcia, Alexis Brito and Frederick Brito, 21 great-grandchildren, one great great-grandchild and many special friends and relatives.

Antonio is preceded in death by his father Elias Felan Sr., Mother Elvira Felan, son Michael Felan, brothers Elias Jr, Moses, Joseph and Danny Felan, sister Lupita Varela and grandson Antonio Felan III.

A funeral mass will be at 1:00 PM Saturday, January 18th, 2025, at Saint John Catholic Church in Alvin, Texas.
