Annie Cruz, age 78 of Alvin, Texas, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2022.  Annie was born on August 28, 1943, in Benavides, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents Simon and Benilde Garcia; brothers Simon Garcia and Lupe Garcia, granddaughter, Cristy Fuentes.

Annie is survived by her husband Louis Cruz Jr.; daughters Victoria Mejias and husband Juan, Eva Land and husband James, Abby Cordova and husband Greg; sons Louis Cruz III and wife Velma, David Cruz and wife Monica; sister Rose Padilla and husband Benny; brothers George Garcia and wife Bertha, Lee Garcia and wife Liz, and Luis Garcia; sister-in-law Mary Garcia, grandchildren Louis IV, Daniel, Annie, Joshua, Nicholas, David Jr., Joey, Greg III, Adrian and Amber; great-grandchildren Carter, Elillas and Leara.

A visitation will be held Monday, April 11, 2022, from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at Scott Funeral Home in Alvin, Texas. A funeral service will start at 12:00 PM with an interment following the services at South Park Cemetery.
