Annette Lynn Robertson, age 65 of Stanton, Texas, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2024, in Midland, Texas. Annette was born October 4, 1958, in Disney, Oklahoma. Annette spent most of her educational career teaching speech pathology at Sweeny Elementary School and Barrow Elementary. Her passion in education was evident in every child she interacted with. She truly enjoyed instilling a desire to learn amongst the community. Annette also enjoyed cooking, baking, and reading, but her true joy in life came from watching her grandchildren grow. She was their number one supporter in everything they did. Her family and friends were the light of her life. Annette also loved her fur babies and would rarely be seen without a dachshund proudly displayed on her belongings.

Annette is preceded in death by her parents R.L and Velma Carroll; sister Cheryll Ann Carroll; brother Raymond Lee Carroll.

Annette is survived by husband David Robertson Sr.; her daughter Alyssa Helmcamp and husband Jonathan; son David (Buddy) Robertson and wife Shannon; brother Larry Carroll; grandchildren Luke, Gage, Jensen, and Adalynn; sister-in-law Katy Carroll; brother-in-law Jack Robertson and wife Rhonda; sister-in-law Faye Alexander; and numerous cousins.

A visitation will be held Thursday, July 25, 2024, at Scott Funeral Home from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM, with a funeral service beginning at 2:00 PM. Interment to be held at Confederate Cemetery following the services. A reception will be held at Parish Hall at Grace Episcopal Church afterwards.
