Anita Gonzales age 82, of Alvin, Texas passed away peacefully Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at her home. Anita was born June 6, 1941 in Alvin, Texas and was a lifetime resident. She attended St. John The Baptist Catholic Church and will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Anita is preceded in death by her husband, Juan D. Gonzales Sr.; parents, Nicholas and Lucy Cordova; grandchildren, Phillip Dollery and Amanda Dollery; daughter in law, Alma Gonzales; sisters, Mary Orduna, Carmen Lopez and Lupe Navarro; brother, Jessie Cordova.

Anita is survived by her daughters Judy (Phillip) Dollery, Andrea (Roy) Buitron, sons, Juan Gonzales Jr., Michael Gonzales, Jesse (Otilia) Gonzales, Paul (Mayela) Gonzales; grandchildren, Chris and Vanessa Gonzales, Stephanie and Stephen Dollery, Brittany and Brian Buitron, Alexandria Vasquez, Anthony Gonzales, Paul Jr., Patrick, Savannah, Liam and Madeleine Gonzales; great grandchildren, Maximo Gonzales, Kalisianna, JulisaBella, Lilisennia, Maxavier and Izzaiahs Dollery-Mateo, Xaiver Buitron, Julia Vasquez, Ruben, Lupe and Julian Gonzales, Chloe, Louce, Anita and Gema Gonzales; great great grandchild, Izzekiel Dollery-Mateo; sisters, Margaret Sandford, Mary Lou Munoz and Rose Hernandez; brothers, Martin Cordova, Joe Cordova and Nick Cordova; along with numerous extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM - 11:00  AM Friday, November 10, 2023 at Scott Funeral Home with Funeral services beginning at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at Oak Park Cemetery in Alvin.
