Angela Krauskopf, age 47 of League City, Texas, passed away Saturday, September 16, 2023.  Angela was born on July 18, 1976 in Silsbee, Texas and was a resident of League City, Texas for over 10 years.  She was a homemaker and Catholic by faith.

As a young girl, she and her mom lived with grandparents Ted and Helen Desormeaux.  She developed a huge bond with both of them.   MawMaw Helen taught her how to cook and bake.  She was a very powerful influence in her life.  Angela often sought guidance from her during her high school years.  Angela's heart was broken in 1997 when MawMaw passed away.

Ted Desormeaux, PawPaw, also played a big part in Angela's early years.  He said she loved to come to the barn where he was working.  She always wanted to help him with whatever he was doing, often they had lunch there, eating sardines and crackers.  PawPaw said one of his most treasured memories was when she would come to him and ask to go fishing.  He loved to take her fishing, even if they didn't catch anything, they had a good time telling stories.  Angela's eyes would always light up in later years when she talked about him and the memories they made.

All throughout her high school years in Buna, Tx she was an "A" student and a member of the band, played the piccolo and flute.  Angela was also a twirler, winning many awards every year.  In her senior year she went to Florida to try out for the All American Team and made it.  Angela and her best friend, Heather, were chosen to twirl at the World Fair in Spain.  An accomplishment that she loved to talk about.

After high school, Angela attended Stephen F Austin University.  She graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration.  It was there that she met her love, Craig.  After graduation she moved to Houston and worked for Exova as an administrative assistant and later for David's Bridal as an assistant manager.

In 2006, Angela and Craig married.  She passed away on the anniversary of their 17 years of marriage.

2013, was the year that their pride and joy, Landen was born.  He was everything to her.  She loved supporting him in school activities and was his "biggest fan" at baseball games.

For the past 10 years, Angela was a stay at home mom.  She kept busy taking care of Landen and devoting time to her passion which was cooking.  She loved watching cooking shows, and mystery and crime shows.  She also tried kick boxing a few years ago,  and actually became quite good at it.

Angela was a woman of faith and a devoted wife and mom.  She was a free spirit, with a kind heart and enjoyed the more simple things in life.

Angela is preceded in death by her great uncle Joe Billy Desormeaux and her MawMaw Helen Marie Desormeaux.

She is survived by her husband Craig Krauskopf and son Landen; parents Crisha and Dale Whitehead; brother Cole Whitehead and wife Victoria, daughter Sydni;  grandfather Ted Desormeaux and wife Michelle; brother in law Blake Krauskopf, son Kase; sister in law Lisa Tatum and husband Lorenzo, daughters Lexi and Laney.  Along with other extended family and friends.

A visitation will be held Saturday, September 23, 2023 from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM with Funeral Services beginning at 11:00 AM at Scott Funeral Home in Alvin, Texas.  Interment will take place Sunday, September 24, 2023 at 3:00 P.M. in Buna, Texas.
