Andrew William Benzaia Jr., age 67 of Sugar Land, Texas, passed away Friday, January 23, 2026. Andrew was born March 27, 1958 in Lawton, Oklahoma and was a longtime resident of Sugar Land. He worked in IT for both IBM and Shell Oil Company. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Andrew is preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Thompson; father, Andrew Benzaia Sr. and wife Frances Benzaia.

Andrew is survived by his siblings, James Benzaia, Susan Ratton, Thomas Benzaia and wife Barbara; nieces and nephews, Damon Benzaia (Melissa), Brittany Shita (Ari), Bailey Buchanan (Clint), Anthony Benzaia (Paige), Christopher Ratton (Janna Cate) and Megan Hood (Jaden); grand nieces and nephews, Alice, Miller, Claire, Max and Vera; bonus siblings, Janell Grassmuck (Michael), Dale Weyer (Jara), and Vickie Brown (Larry); as well as numerous extended family and friends.

The family would like to thank the staff at Combined Glory Assisted Living for the love and care provided to Andrew for the past eleven years.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
