Alva Clifton Dalton Jr., age 73 of Alvin, Texas, passed away Saturday, June 24, 2023. Alva was born on June 26, 1949, in Corpus Christi, Texas, and was a resident of Alvin for 40 years. Alva enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandkids and family.

Alva is preceded in death by his parents, Alva and Billie Jo Dalton; sister Betty Terrell; brothers Billy Dalton and Bobby Dalton.

Alva is survived by his wife Katherine Dalton; daughters Shannon Hinkle and husband Michael, Callie Lamb and husband Timothy, Elexis Fregia and husband Kirk; sons Shawn Dalton and wife Sarah, and Anthony Wilfong and wife Elizabeth; sister Joanna Green and husband Bruce; grandchildren Cassandra, Cody, Griffin, Christopher, Zoie, Jacob, Jarod, Dominic, Alex, Liam, Jamison, and Gracelynn, as well as four great granddaughters and one great grandson.

A memorial visitation will be held from 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM Sunday, July 9, 2023, at Scott Funeral Home with a memorial service starting at 3:00 PM.
