A beautiful baby girl was born on December 26, 1957, in Galveston, Texas to Arlene Lightener and Samuel Goodwin, Sr. They named her Alisa Donzel Goodwin. She accepted Christ at a young age under Rev. W.L Cooper at Greater New Hope Baptist Church in Alvin, Texas.

Alisa attended school in Alvin I.S.D. She was a probation officer for many years, then went to work for youth and family counseling for many years. At the time of her death, she was a foster parent to Robert Fite and Simon Bonner.

She met and married Harold Hall, through this marriage an only child was born, their daughter Ceteka Hall.

On May 6, 2022, our beloved Alisa Hall was called home to be with our lord and savior.

She was preceded in death by both parents Arlene Lightener and Samuel Goodwin Sr.; stepsister Donna Peterson; nephew Christopher Harris, and many other loved ones.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories, her daughter Ceteka Hall of Alvin, Texas, God-daughter Chloee Holden of Alvin, Texas, her three sisters Patrice Harris of Alvin, Texas (Richard), Sheila Overshown of Alvin, Texas (Billy, deceased), and Paulette Lightener of Houston, Texas, as well as her two brothers Samuel Goodwin Jr., and Donald Lightener Jr. Also, an Aunt Ray Elveyn Owens and an Uncle Donald Fletcher Sr., as well as many more nieces and nephews and lots of family and friends.

A funeral service will be held on May 14, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. at Scott Funeral Home, Alvin, Texas. An interment will be at Houston Memorial Gardens in Pearland, Texas following the services.
