Alexander "Cano" Gonzales Sr., age 75 of San Leon, Texas passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at his home. Cano was born December 30, 1946 in Charlotte, Texas and spent many years living in Alvin, Texas before moving to San Leon. He grew up in the Pentecostal Church and will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Cano is preceded in death by his wife, Rosemarie Gonzales; parents, Pablo and Aurora Gonzales; sisters, Rosa Delgado and Lupe Sambrano; brothers, Pablo Gonzales Jr. and Juan Gonzales; grandson, Brayden Soper.

Cano is survived by his children, Laura Clayton, Rhonda Sloss, Michelle Capistran (Roland), Alexander Gonzales Jr. (Delilah), Amanda Soper (Trevor); sisters, Mary Deleon and Vicky Tello; brother, Chon Gonzales; along with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, October 22, 2022 at Scott Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Oak Park Cemetery in Alvin.
