Rebecca Derringer Wyatt, age 62 of Alvin, Texas passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at her residence. Rebecca was born on January 7, 1951 in Portland, Indiana and was a resident of the Houston area for 44 years. She was a retired operator for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. Rebecca was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Wyatt, father, Andrew Jackson Derringer, grandparents, Enos and Rebecca Derringer, Kenneth and Minnie Somers.

Rebecca is survived by her mother, Mary Helen Derringer, sisters, Jeanne Craig and husband, Jim of Maryville, Tennessee, Jacqueline Cowan of Portland, Indiana, brother, William Derringer and wife, Janis of Troutdale, Oregon, 2 nieces, Donna Craig and Angela Cowan, 2 nephews, James Craig and Andrew Derringer, 4 great-nieces, special friends, Philip and Clayton Fields, Jennifer Massey and Mary Burr, numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Saturday, March 9, 2013 at Scott Funeral Home with Funeral services beginning at 7:00 P.M. Graveside services will be at 11:00 A.M.
