Melinda Maxwell Rodriguez, age 59 of Alvin, Texas passed away unexpectedly at her home on Monday, March 4, 2013. Melinda was born on April 30, 1953 in LaMarque, Texas to Sue Eubanks Maxwell Dart and James Franklin Maxwell. She graduated from Alvin High School and worked for many years as a graphic artist at Pennzoil in Houston, Texas. For the past eight years, she was employed with the City of Alvin in the Code Enforcement Division.

Melinda is survived by her husband of 42 years, Humberto (Squeaky) Rodriguez of Alvin, Texas, son, Christopher Rodriguez of Austin, Texas, daughter and son-in-law, Angela Rodriguez Hackner and husband, Paul of Los Angeles, California and the joy of her life, grandson, Ari Hackner of Los Angeles, California, parents, Sue Eubanks Dart and Russell Marvin Dart of Pearland, Texas, sisters, Margaret McClure of Houston, Texas, Sarah Clark of Pearland, Texas, aunt, Lucile Beasley of Liverpool, Texas, uncle, Lennie Eubanks of Springfield, VA, their families, numerous other relatives and friends.
