Dezma Ester Benitez, age 11 of Alvin, Texas, passed into Christ’s healing arms on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at MD Anderson Houston, Texas. Dezma was born on August 8, 2001 in Houston, Texas and was a dedicated member of Gleaner Full Gospel in Alvin.

Dezma is survived by her parents, Lynda and John Flores, father, Angel Benitez, sister, Alexandria Flores, brothers, Diego, Gabriel and Julian Benitez, grandparents, Adolfo and Aracely Chavez, Lynda Calderon and Gloria Benitez along with abundant and loving relatives and special friends. Dezma spent her short but inspirational life as a creative, vibrant, generous, and loving servant of Christ. Her devotion and faith were steadfast, despite the overwhelming challenges she endured. Dezma’s life IS a true testament of courage in the face of adversity, faith in the darkest of times, and enduring love.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, March 7, 2013 at Gleaner Full Gospel 2830 Stadium Drive, Alvin, Texas 77511 with Interment to follow at Confederate Cemetery Alvin, Texas.
